When I began reading the book I immediately felt an uplifting in my spirit. It was an inspiration to read a book dealing with such heartbreak and yet to not feel any bitterness. That, in itself, is a great teaching and so needed in this day of everything for 'me'. Shelley shows that God is with us in whatever we go through and will guide us and give us the wisdom and strength to come thru any trial with His victory. I have watched Shelley grow from an infant in the Lord to a mature lady. I am proud to call her my friend. Her growth was not easy and there were many heartaches. She put her faith in God her Father, never saying an unkind word about her husband. Being with her during this dark period in her life you would never know anything was wrong. The strength, courage, love, and faith that this book shares is so powerful. On a scale of 1 to 10, of all the spiritual books that we have read, including Dr. James Kennedy, Dr. James Dobson, Dr. Lester Sumrall, and other religious authors, we would rate your book a 10! It is admirable that you did not focus on your painful ordeal which would have been understandable, but rather on the restoration of your husband's soul, which was commendable and God-honoring. What a wonderful Christian testimony, witness and role-model you are to both men and especially to women who may be experiencing problems of infidelity in their marriages, but also inspiring those who may find themselves in lack-luster marriages.
